Director
The Director is responsible for the leadership and management of TEDI and working with faculties and organisational units to identify ways in which TEDI can support their teaching and professional development needs. The position holds ex-offico membership on the Academic Board, Teaching and Learning Committee and ad hoc working parties.
Associate Director
The Associate Director’s role is about the internal management of TEDI. It includes managing the University Staff Development Program on behalf of the University Staff Development Committee; and overseeing all the administrative areas of TEDI, such as human resource management; occupational health and safety; information technology and connectivity; facilities; finance and services to UQ.
Personal Assistant to Director
The Personal Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support to the Director, drafts some correspondence and deals with routine administrative matters on behalf of the Director and acts as Committee/Minute Secretary for several TEDI meetings, working parties etc.
Personal Assistant to Associate Director
The Personal Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support to the Associate Director, drafts some correspondence, deals with routine administrative matters on behalf of the Associate Director, and works as part of the TEDI administrative team as and when required.

Consultants provide advice and support
on teaching
and learning
issues to individual
teaching staff, teaching
and learning communities,
schools and faculties.
They provide
academic leadership

and presentation of professional
development programs
in the
following areas: teaching
and learning,
assessment, curriculum
and course development
and evaluation.

Administration Unit
Adminstration Manager
Administration Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of TEDI's administrative and support functions. This includes the management of all TEDI resources and facilities and TEDI administration services, as well as Human Resource management and budget planning and development.
Finance Officer
The Finance Officer is responsible for the management of TEDI's financial systems and the day-to-day administration and management of the Institute's assets.
Receptionist
The Receptionist is the
first point of
contact for people
visiting TEDI and
provides administrative
support for the
Teaching and Educational
Development Institute.

Staff Development Officer
The Staff Development Officer provides administrative support to TEDI, with particular focus on the University Staff Development Program and assists the Staff Development Coordinator.
Staff Development Assistant
The Staff Development
Assistant supports the Staff Development
Officer in
all aspects of
the Staff Development
Program.
Educational Technologies
The Educational Technologies unit assist the development of technology-enriched teaching and learning across the university and support TEDI’s communication and technology needs.
