TEVAL order process

Please read the following :

  • Orders are only accepted from the lecturer or tutor being evaluated.
  • You need to place a separate order for each class group. For example, if you tutor three groups in the same course you need to place three separate orders.
  • The BEL-EVAL is a variation of the TEVAL and is used exclusively by the BEL Faculty. BEL lecturers should not place a TEVAL order. BEL tutors still need to place TEVAL orders.  For more information see the BEL-EVAL overview.
  • Orders can be made at any time. Please allow at least 6 working days before the survey is due to be conducted.
  • The data collected by the Evaluation Services Unit may be aggregated and de-identified for institutional research and reporting purposes.

You will receive a master copy of each survey you order, a reply paid envelope for the return of completed surveys, and instructions for the preparation and administration (PDF 22KB) of the survey.

Ordering Steps

Step 1. Identify the aspects of your practice that you wish to seek feedback on.

Choose the TEVAL form most suited to your teaching context.  There are several Types of TEVALs. If these do not fit with your teaching situation, please contact evaluation services and discuss your needs.

Step 2.

Select the additional questions that will target the areas of practice or teaching innovation. Optional items will provide you with further information on the teaching and learning experience from the students' perspective. You will need the Item Numbers for the ordering process. Please note that some TEVALs, such as the Problem-based learning TEVAL and the BEL-EVAL don’t allow space for optional items.

Step 3.

Complete the TEVAL online order form.

If you are using a Macintosh computer with Internet Explorer, please use the Word or PDF forms below.

As an alternative to the TEVAL online order form you can download one of these order forms and complete it offline.
