TEDI has moved!
On 24 August 2009, TEDI moved to Buildings 90 and 96 (corner of Hood and Rock Streets), St Lucia campus. TEDI will be at this temporary location while the “TEDI hut” is demolished to make way for construction of the new Learning Innovation Building (LIB) Building on the same site. Scheduled for completion in 2010 on the current TEDI site, the Learning Innovation Building will bring together TEDI, the Centre for Educational Innovation and Technology (CEIT) and the Centre for Innovation in Professional Learning (CIPL), at a single, central campus location. read more

Learning Technologies Conference 2009
The Learning Technologies conference aims to investigate new and emerging learning technologies and their use. Participants will be able to learn about the many ways in which learning technologies can support them and make connections with colleagues who have a vast range of experience in the use of learning technologies.

Getting Started with ePortfolios
ePortfolios are gaining importance as a means of collating an individual's online records, reflections on learning and various competencies and have been used to support lifelong learning, innovative assessment practices and provide a record of a learner's journey. Developed at the University of Wolverhampton, PebblePad is an ePortfolio system used by over 100 institutions and 400,000 individuals around the world. This Seminar will introduce the user to the PebblePad eportfolio system.

Ascilite Conference 2009, Auckland
ASCILITE 2009 'Same Places, Different Spaces', is the 29th conference in the series. The conference will be held in Auckland City, Aotearoa New Zealand for only the second time in the history of the Society. A Committee from the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology is coordinating the event. Both these Universities enjoy a reputation for excellence in teaching and learning with technology. They also have extensive campuses in the centre of Auckland City, in close proximity to each other.

Innovative Work and Learning Research Forum

The GAP symposia are open to anybody who is interested in the topic of graduate attributes and this invitation is being sent to staff at all 36 participating universities. These events will build on the two GAP network events held last year to support the dissemination of the GAP discussion papers and initiate further collaborative work on this topic.

UQ Blended Learning Conference - UQ, St Lucia
