Course specification form

The Course Specifications Form is to be completed for all new and existing courses by 31 August each year. The completed form is used by the Staff Development Officer to compile the proposed program of courses for the next year to the University Staff Development Committee (USDC). Once approved by the USDC most of the details specified on the form are unable to be amended until the next annual proposal is submitted.  Completed forms can be submitted to StaffDev@tedi.uq.edu.au.

Course Coordinator Handbook

The Course Coordinator Handbook outlines the roles and responsibilities of TEDI, Course Coordinators and Presenters.

Program planning timelines

June -Training for course review. The Matching course content to what participants need to know form has been designed to assist in this process.

July - Courses reviewed and changes planned with presenters.

August - A completed Course Specifications Form is to be submitted for all new and existing courses by 31 August each year.  Completed forms can be submitted to StaffDev@tedi.uq.edu.au

September - Course proposals are compiled by TEDI for budgeting and submission to the University Staff Development Committee (USDC).

October - USDC meets to approve Budget and Program. Program and handbook developed. No further changes should be made to the program after this time.

November - Staff Development Workgroup meets to finalise handbook and website. Handbook is sent to printery and information is entered onto Aurion.

December/January - Handbook sent out to all University staff and information is loaded onto the Staff Development web site.

Supervisor Feedback

As well as seeking participants' feedback at the end of each course the University Staff Development Committee (USDC) may seek feedback from supervisors to gauge the benefit of staff development courses. 

Parking information & map

As of 24 August 2009, the TEDI Seminar venue has moved to Room 215, level 2, Building 90 (corner of Hood and Rock Streets), St Lucia campus.

There is limited parking available for presenters and/or participants who travel from other University campuses or locations. Please contact TEDI prior to your course to see if the space is available. 'Scratchies' can also be sent to participants who do not have a University parking permit or for participants with a special need.
